Our Chairman and friend collapsed and died: 2 April, 2009, in Ayr.

New Year meet at CarrbridgeThe members have an interest in all types of outdoor fun; we have Munro baggers, hill walkers and climbers, skiers, ski mountaineers, bikers and mountain bikers and even some fisher folk.

We venture out onto the hills for day trips, weekend trips and even sometimes over to the Alps. We can be found staying in tents, bothies or mountain huts.
However nowadays, as we get older we like our comforts, showers n' soft beds, huts and hostels are favourite. Disclaimer:

The KMC recognises that climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death.Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.
We meet on the first and third Thursday night of the month. On these nights we meet for a drink and a chat in the lounge of:
